❓ What is Hangram?

Hangram is a challenging word game of two halves.

First, it plays like classic Hangman. You have up to TEN attempts to guess the correct letters of a hidden word by clicking the virtual keyboard.

But wait—there’s a twist! The hidden word has been scrambled into a messy anagram. Nasty, eh?

Once you’ve correctly guessed all the letters, we enter Phase 2: Rearrange the letters into the original word using any lives you have remaining. When you think you’ve cracked it, hit [Submit Word].

⚠️ Be warned: the original word may have other valid anagrams. If you guess wrong, you’ll lose another life!

The game ends when you successfully reconstruct the original word—or when you run out of lives.

💡 Why Hangram?

I created Hangram after playing Wordle for a few years and finding it wasn’t quite challenging enough. I retired from Wordle after 1000 games—proudly undefeated.

Hangram is my answer to that itch for something trickier, twistier, and more satisfying.
